Having a learning difficulty means that people find it harder to learn certain skills. As this effects 15% of people. It is important for those working in healthcare, social care and education to have knowledge of different specific learning difficulties such as ADHD, dyslexia and dyscalculia.
You will need to be:
- aged 19 or older on 31 August in the year you wish to study
- be eligible to study in the UK, with 'in-date' evidence that shows that you will be resident in the UK for the duration of the course and not currently studying an apprenticeship programme
You will also need access to a computer (laptop or desktop), and a stable internet connection, to access our interactive online learning platform.
You will complete a series of assessments within a set time-frame which will be marked by a qualified assessor, these will produce the relevant evidence to meet the requirements for the awarding body. On successful completion you will be awarded a nationally recognised level 2 qualification.
To further your personal development you may wish to undertake up to three Level 2 courses at the same time.
As this course is undertaken by distance learning, there is no need to attend the college and you can study at a time that suits you. You will receive a set of comprehensive learning materials on your subject, and have access to an assessor who will support you throughout the programme.
