Mental Health presents one of the greatest challenges to our society. Studying understanding Mental Health will give you a good understanding of this topic and you will achieve a nationally recognised Level 2 qualification. This course covers a wide range of Mental Health issues including Phobias, Depression, Dementia, Eating Disorders and much more.
This course is aimed at adults 19+ years of age wanting to increase their knowledge of Mental Health or those wishing to take a step into the Mental Health industry. It is an excellent opportunity to further personal or professional development.
You will need to be:
- aged 19 or older on 31 August in the year you wish to study
- be eligible to study in the UK, with 'in-date' evidence that shows that you will be resident in the UK for the duration of the course and not currently studying an apprenticeship programme
You will also need access to a computer (laptop or desktop), and a stable internet connection, to access our interactive online learning platform.
You will complete a series of assessments within a set time-frame which will be marked by a qualified assessor these will produce the relevant evidence to meet the requirements for the awarding body. On successful completion you will be awarded a nationally recognised level 2 qualification.
Further your personal development. Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for England. Level 2 or 3 Certificate in preparing to work in Adult Social Care. Level 2 or 3 Certificate for working in the Health Sector. Intermediate or Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Health & Social Care. Intermediate or Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Health (Clinical Healthcare Support).
As this course is undertaken by distance learning, there is no need to attend the college and you can study at a time that suits you. You will receive a set of comprehensive learning materials on your subject, and have access to a knowledgeable tutor and assessor who will support you throughout the programme.
