Data protection compliance is an essential legal requirement for all organisations since the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) came in to force in May 2018. It is more vital than ever that everyone who works with personal data understands the laws and acts in compliance, as the penalties can be severe.
You will need to be:
- aged 19 or older on 31 August in the year you wish to study
- be eligible to study in the UK, with 'in-date' evidence that shows that you will be resident in the UK for the duration of the course and not currently studying an apprenticeship programme
You will also need access to a computer (laptop or desktop), and a stable internet connection, to access our interactive online learning platform.
You will complete a series of assessments within a set time-frame which will be marked by a qualified assessor, these will produce the relevant evidence to meet the requirements for the awarding body. On successful completion you will be awarded a nationally recognised level 2 qualification.
To further your personal development you may wish to undertake up to three Level 2 courses at the same time.
As this course is undertaken by distance learning, there is no need to attend the college and you can study at a time that suits you. You will receive a set of comprehensive learning materials on your subject, and have access to an assessor who will support you throughout the programme.
